I accept that as a condition on my volunteer placement with WE.APP I will follow ethical and procedural policies for confidentiality, background check, reference checks and any other documents deemed necessary or appropriate by We.APP. I certify that all the information provided is true, complete and correct. I understand the completion of this application does not entitle me to become a WE.APP Volunteer and my position can be ended at any point. Photo Waiver: I hereby grant We.APP, its employees, legal representatives, agents and/or assigns, including all those acting with its permission, the irrevocable right and permission to copyright, use (in any legal manner), reuse and/or publish in any media form, any photograph or image captured, without restriction. The image may be in any media form including color, or black-and-white and made through any media form by We.APP, for any lawful purpose whatsoever, including the use in any related printed matter. I hereby waive any and all rights to inspect and/or approve the finished images/photos that may be used. I hereby irrevocably release, discharge and agree to hold harmless HeadCount, its representatives, assigns, employees, agents and/or any person or corporation, acting under its permission or authority, including any firm publishing and/or distributing the finished image, in whole or in part, from and against any and all liability or claims as a result of any distortion, blurring, alteration, optical illusion, and/or use in any composite form, either intentionally or otherwise, that may occur or be produced in the taking, processing and/or reproduction of the finished image, its publication, and/or its distribution. I hereby confirm that I am over eighteen years of age, and I am competent to contract in my own name as stated above. I fully acknowledge I am entitled to no compensation. I have read the foregoing release, authorization and agreement, and warrant that I fully understand the contents thereof. Volunteer Release and Waiver: I assume any and all risk of harm that may arise out of my participation in any and all activities relating to volunteering with We.APP. I hereby release We.APP from any and all liability which may arise in connection with volunteering for HeadCount or while attending an event as a We.APP volunteer, including but not limited to potential claims, demands and causes of action for compensatory or punitive damages, attorney’s fees, costs, or any other legal or equitable relief of any kind, for injuries and damages, and the consequences thereof, whether known or unknown, foreseen or unforeseen. I further agree to indemnify and hold HeadCount and its agents, representatives and employees, harmless from any such claim, demand cause of action or any other legal or equitable action arising out of or relating to my participation in We.APPs volunteer program.
