Justice for George Floyd (PSA) Submissions:

Deadline, Wednesday, June 10th

Enough is enough.

“Our pain, our cries, and our need to be seen and heard resonate throughout this entire country.”

Our country is hurting. We are all watching and rising against the injustices that plague and destroy Black lives. We.APP is committed to creating a space where scholars can express themselves and challenge a system that is supposed to protect ALL.

Along with our COVID-19 public service announcements (PSAs), we want to honor youth voice during this time of grief over the violent death of George Floyd. Use this time and space to no longer be silent. We encourage you to create videos that express your thoughts around police brutality and the unfair treatment of Black people but specifically Black boys and men. Use this space to communicate the demands “we the people” expect from our local and national officials and government. Use this time to simply “speak your truth,” and know that you are supported and heard!

  • Create 30-90 second video on any device or using padlet.com and no later than June 10th.

  • Fill out the below Parental Consent Form, press submit & immediately be directed to padlet.com to upload your video or create one!

Scholar videos will be featured as Public Service Announcements (PSAs). Selected videos will be featured on our website, social media platforms and the We.APP short documentary to ensure that We.APP youth are heard!
